Parental Alienation is child abuse

NATHAN's Law-Parents automatically have shared custody and parental responsibility of their child

This is a safeguarding issue!

The Alienators' Playbook - A Wake-Up Call on Parental Alienation

This is exposure — not instruction.

1. Destroy the other parent’s image.
“I’m protecting you.” “You know how they are.” Plant fear, twist facts, erase good memories.

2. Control access.
Cancel visits. Block messages. Make contact seem risky or inconvenient.

3. Weaponise loyalty.
“If you loved me, you’d stay.” “Don’t betray me.” Force the child to choose — love becomes a test.

4. Reward rejection.
Praise anger. Encourage disrespect. Make hostility feel like loyalty.

5. Erase allies.
Distance grandparents, friends, teachers — anyone who encourages the other parent. Undermine therapists who try to help.

6. Weaponise the system — and brainwash in the meantime.
File false or exaggerated claims. Drag out court battles. Use custody hearings and mental health evaluations to punish contact and legitimise exclusion. Meanwhile, rehearse lines and plant doubt — conditioning the child to repeat accusations, rewrite memories, and believe the other parent is dangerous. The legal fight becomes cover for emotional manipulation.

7. Play the victim.
Cry. Blame. Claim you’re the one harmed. Use emotion to sway family, professionals, and judges.

Why it matters

This is manipulation, not parenting. The casualty is the child, forced to choose love like an accusation. Recognise these tactics. Call them out. Protect the child’s right to both parents — Parental Alienation is child abuse!

My son Nathan (27) died on 27th March 2021. My ex-wife excluded me and my family from all aspects of his funeral. She has been psychologically and emotionally abusing our son for years but I was powerless. I didn't realise until it was too late that she had embarked on a campaign of hate. Pretending to be nice to my face but undermining me behind my back. She triangulated with our two other children and they just abused Nathan. The circumstances surrounding his death are suspicious but the legal and social system aren't interested. In fact, I was told by the criminal justice system defence barrister that I risked bankruptcy and I still would not get anywhere if I continued to pursue. Every day since my son's death has been a struggle but I know he would want me to continue and use his story to make the world a better place which I intend to do. This charity is the start!
